On the Organizing Side

This time I wasn’t there as an attendee listening to sessions. Since my company was hosting the event, I was on the organizing side.

I spent the day greeting the exhibitors at their booths and welcoming the customers who came to the venue. There was little time to sit in on sessions, but meeting people face to face and exchanging a few words in person is something an online interaction can’t quite replace, and the day reminded me of that.
