Prerequisite Knowledge: Only One Organization Account Is Needed

Unlike AWS which requires multiple accounts, Azure seems to be operable with just one account for a company organization, similar to Google Cloud.

Steps from Azure Account Creation to Initial Setup

Create a Microsoft Account (Optional)

If you don’t have a Microsoft account, create one following How to Create a New Microsoft Account - Microsoft Support.

While you can create an Azure account with GitHub login, I believe creating a Microsoft account with a company email address is easier to manage.

Enable MFA for Microsoft Account

Since you’ll register credit card information when creating an Azure account, enable MFA settings for your Microsoft account first if you haven’t already.
