I wanted to use Amazon WorkMail in the iPhone Gmail app, so I researched the configuration steps.

I set it up referring to the configuration values listed in the official documentation Amazon 用の IMAP の設定 WorkMail (Configuring IMAP for Amazon WorkMail).

Steps to Use Amazon WorkMail in iPhone Gmail App

Tap [Use another account] in Gmail App

From Gmail アプリにメール アカウントを追加する - iPhone と iPad - Gmail ヘルプ (Add email accounts to the Gmail app - iPhone and iPad - Gmail Help):

1. Open the Gmail app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your profile picture in the top right.
3. Tap [Use another account].

Adding Account

1. Tap [Other (IMAP)].

Incoming Server Settings

Enter the following values:

• Username: your_user@example.com
• Password: [Amazon WorkMail account password]
• IMAP Server: imap.mail.us-east-1.awsapps.com

Outgoing Server Settings

Enter the following values:

• Username: your_user@example.com
• Password: [Amazon WorkMail account password]
• IMAP Server: smtp.mail.us-east-1.awsapps.com

Account Setup Complete

1. Enter the name you want to display in [Name].
