VALUE-DOMAIN DNS Settings Not Reflecting Due to Unconfigured Name Servers
I was having trouble with DNS settings for a domain contracted with VALUE-DOMAIN not reflecting, but the cause was that I hadn’t configured the name servers.
Prerequisites
VALUE-DOMAIN Configuration Policy
- Use VALUE-DOMAIN's name servers
DNS Settings Not Reflecting?
To state the conclusion first, the cause of DNS not reflecting was that only DNS was configured while name servers weren’t set up.
Name Server Change Procedure
Checking DNS Settings Page
On VALUE-DOMAIN’s DNS settings page, it states:
Configure DNS for domains operated with name servers "NS1〜5.VALUE-DOMAIN.COM".
So I confirmed whether the name servers were correctly configured.
Set Name Servers to ns*.value-domain.com
From a URL like:
https://www.value-domain.com/zjp.php?action=DomainNameServer1&DomainName=your-domain.co.jp&
You can access the Attribute JP (your-domain.co.jp) Name Server Change page. (Please replace the your-domain.co.jp part with your own domain)
When I checked, all forms from Name Server 1 to Name Server 13 were empty.
Name Server Configuration
Click either:
- Configure name servers within this service (ns1〜5.value-domain.com)
- Configure name servers within this service (ns11-13.value-domain.com)
Then click the [Save] button to complete the name server configuration.

That’s all about the DNS for a domain contracted with VALUE-DOMAIN not reflecting because name servers weren’t configured from the Gemba.
