Background: Team Members Tend to Forget Meetings

First, the background is that there are people who tend to forget team meetings. Personally, I don’t forget because Google Calendar notifications come, but there seem to be a certain number of people who won’t forget if Slack reminds them.

In such cases, combining Slack’s reminder feature with the user group feature and setting it up nicely within teams or projects is recommended.

Slack Configuration Steps

Create Slack User Group

• ユーザーグループを作成する – Slack (Create User Groups - Slack)

In my case, I created a development team user group @devteam.

Set Slack Reminder

• リマインダーを設定する – Slack (Set Reminders - Slack)

Example: Slack /remind to Notify @usergroup

/remind "定例始めます！ https://zoom.us/j/xxxxxxxxxx @devteam" at 3:58PM every Thursday
