Tunnello Advantages and Disadvantages
Advantages

- Only Chrome browser communication goes through VPN
How to Install Tunnello
Tunnello installation instructions are written in How to install Tunnello?, but I’ll introduce them in Japanese in this article.
Install from Chrome Web Store
For desktop Chrome browser, install by clicking the “ADD TO CHROME” button from the following URL:
New Member Registration
You need to register as a member to use Tunnello. You can use up to 1GB for free, and you need to pay to use more.
First, the Tunnello icon (the spiral-like thing) should be added to the upper right area of Chrome browser, so click on it.
When you click the GO button, if you’re not logged in, the Login or Register page will be displayed.
If you haven’t registered as a member, please create a new account.
Connect/Disconnect VPN
Select the country you want to use VPN for and click the GO button to start connecting to VPN.
Conversely, when you want to disconnect from VPN, click the power button as shown below to disconnect.
Check Data Usage Status
By logging into Tunnello’s Overview page, you can check your data usage status.
Summary: Tunnello VPN is Recommended
For free VPN services, I think TunnelBear is famous, but Tunnello can solve the need to use VPN only for browsers, so it would be good to use them properly.
As a side note, I learned about Tunnello through Product Hunt newsletter. I’ve been studying English recently and read the Product Hunt newsletter daily, which I also recommend.
That’s all from the Gemba.
