Taking notes on the settings I made after installing Atom.io.

Core Settings
First, I left the Core Settings unchanged.
Editor Settings
Next, the default Editor Settings look like this:
I changed them as shown below:
Changes to Editor Settings
Disabled → Enabled
- Show Indent Guide
- Show Invisibles
Enabled → Disabled
- Soft Tabs
- Soft Wrap
- Soft Wrap At Preferred Line Length
Packages
Various packages are installed by default.
I changed this to Disable so it doesn’t automatically remove half-width spaces.
